BIO

Naked Sunday are a four piece band that hail from Staffordshire, consisting of Martin Stanyer (Vocal and Guitar) Laura Stanyer (Bass, Vocal) Alex Williams (Lead Guitar, Vocal) Liam Collins (Drums, Vocal). 
The band play a mix of melodic hard rock and art rock, not ones to be placed in one category. Something they thrive off, but dont intentionally try and do to be difficult, music fans putting it simply.
In 2018 they played at Rock and Blues festival in Derby which saw them playing at a great festival featuring The Wildhearts,The Dead Daisies , The Dan Reed Network and Gun to name but a few. They also managed a stint again in 2021, featuring The Wildhearts again, FM and The Chris Slade Timeline.
In 2019 the band went from strength to strength and supported US Rockers Pretty Boy Floyd as well as playing Teddy Rocks Festival which featured The Darkness, Phil Campbell, Toploader and The Zutons having won the Vocalzone competition to be placed at the festival. 
2020 saw the release of a new single 'Timeless' which got airplay on Kerrang Radio on Johnny Dooms 10pm - 1am. Even during Covid they put on shows when possible and live streams. 
The song's Lilith and Unbreakable feature in the award winning film 'Tales of The Creeping Death' (starring Ricky Tomlinson, Pete Bennett and Andrew Readman) which had screenings in Transylvania and Canada, The band also contributed music to the 2022 film 'St Baptistes' (Pete Bennett, Ross Lee).
2022 saw the new album called 'Home' get released, this is now available on all digial platforms. It was recorded before during and after the pandemic.
Naked Sunday released the song We're Gonna Win The Cup on 14th October, this made No1 Best Seller on Amazons Songs and Hot new releases (knocking Queen off the No1 spot) and also on the Indie & Alternative Charts in the same categories, giving the band 4 no1 slots in 4 different categories.
The song 'HOME' was  included on the CD for Fireworks Rock and Metal Magazine March - June 2023 edition.

2024 saw the band support Graham Olivers Army (Saxon) and play infront of Paul Newton (Uriah Heep) at Heepfest, as well as playing Rock n Blues 2024 which consisted of Hayseed Dixie, The Dub Pistols , Dr and the Medics and Renegade. They also released the EP Rise recorded by Miguel Seco who has produced Blaze Bayley and Napalm Death.


Prior to this the band recorded with Stephen Sutton (MBE), in 2014 under the guise of the Neon Brotherhood, Martin wrote the UK chart song ‘Hope Aint A Bad Thing’ for Stephen reaching 16 in the UK charts, this saw Martin and Laura perform at V Festival 2014 (alongside The Killers/Train/Justin Timberlake) and Telford Live (Lawson/Rick Astley). A prior line up of Naked Sunday has also supported Molly Hatchett.
